For the safety of the animals and our volunteers, we do not publish the sanctuary’s exact address, but of course it will be supplied for your first day on the job!

If you are not afraid of hard work, come muck stalls, clean enclosures, prepare and distribute food for the animals, and give the animals lots of love

Before beginning your training to become a volunteer at NLAS, we’d like you to commit to a minimum of 6 months and 1 or 2 four-hour shifts each week.

If you are under the age of 16, we ask that you be accompanied by a parent.

Attention those with building skills! We are always looking for help with repairs/general maintenance.

Be patient! We are a 100% volunteer operation and unfortunately we usually need a good bit of time to respond to email and schedule orientations.

We also need content creators and social media managers.
